Partnering With Other Organizations

Boston Take Back Your Time has joined with the Massachusetts Council of Churches to create "Take Back Your Time/Choose 4 Windows of Time." The aim of the project is to "re-create balance between work and leisure" and encourage members of MCC congregations to choose four windows of time for rest and relaxation between Labor Day and Take Back Your Time Day. This project has won the endorsement of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO; National Association of Social Workers, Massachusetts Chapter; the Barnstable Co. (Cape Cod) Department of Human Services "Time Group" and the national Lord's Day Alliance. For more information visit: www.MassCouncilOfChurches.org.

For Take Back Your Time Day 2005, Take Back Your Time joined in a partnership with Beringer Founders' Estate Wines to promote their Living 5to9 Campaign, encouraging better work-life balance in America. Visitors to the "Living 5to9" site were encouraged to take the TIME PLEDGE CHALLENGE and pledge the number of hours they intended to take back in 2006. The total number of hours pledged -- 60,000 -- was announced on Take Back Your Time Day.
